Due amici, ognuno con le proprie competenze, decidono di unire le forze per valorizzare e dare continuità alla storia della vela Olimpica e Lariana. GL Nautica mette a disposizione di tutti i velisti e a tutti i livelli, il bagaglio di conoscenze tecniche e sportive accumulato finora. I giovani sono il nostro focus; trasmettere il più possibile esperienza e conoscenza alle nuove generazioni. Two friends, each with their own expertise, decide to join forces to honour and carry forward the history of Olympic and Lake Como sailing. The Lillia Shipyard becomes GL Nautica, putting the technical and sporting knowledge built up over the years at the disposal of sailors of every level. Young sailors are our focus: passing on as much experience and knowledge as possible to the new generations.

Uno dei più grandi velisti mondiali, è tra gli atleti più vincenti nella storia della vela: cinque medaglie in cinque edizioni olimpiche diverse, quattro nella classe Star, e sei titoli mondiali. Ha vinto la Volvo Ocean Race come skipper e la Louis Vuitton Cup a bordo di Luna Rossa. Porta in GL Nautica la stessa competenza che lo ha reso un campione. One of the greatest sailors in the world, among the most successful athletes in the history of the sport: five medals across five different Olympic Games, four in the Star class, and six world titles. He won the Volvo Ocean Race as skipper and the Louis Vuitton Cup aboard Luna Rossa. He brings to GL Nautica the same expertise that made him a champion.
